General Manager of Luxury Safari Camps – Tanzania
General Manager required to head up the Management of an established group of Luxury Safari Camps in East Africa. This role is based in Tanzania. Salary in the region of 65K-80K USD plus accommodation.
General Manager of Luxury Safari Camps Duties:
- Oversee P&L, analysing financial statements and delivering on the annual business plan
- Plan and Implement Standard Operating Procedure
- Management of the entire operation of all camps
- Implement and maintain the very highest service levels and drive revenue
- Improvement of staff skills and organisation of personnel training and recruitment
- Reviewal of service providers and vendors
- Resource allocation, managing procurement of equipment and supplies
- Co-ordination of licensing and compliance
- Report to board of directors
General Manager of Luxury Safari Camps Experience required:
- Experience managing a luxury hotel, ideally multi-site
- Preference given to those with the above experience within a developing country, ideally Africa
