About the job

Job Description:

·      Managing Sales & Marketing Team - Price & Space control/Local staff orientation

·      Compliance – Keep Track of all RDOC announcements and Trade Policies. Ensure to distribute within the agency and track adherence.

·      eService – To be the frontrunner and promoter of PIL eService offerings.

·      Commercial Promotion - Creating Business Plan and promoting Team for realization.

·      To ensure adequate integration between Sales and EMD to always achieve optimal balance of Principal’s interests.

·      Assisting GM to deal with Commercial related - Meeting/Report/KPI/24*7 duty.

·      Working with TRADE/RO for market information collection/feedback/Proposal and program implementation

·      Taking language advantage to tie up business in certain community - Chinese Government Organization/State Corporation/Regional Association and enhancing communication with China offices.

·      Integrating resources in support departments to optimize commercial functions.

 

Requirement:

·      Tertiary education in business, marketing or commerce is preferable;

·      5-10 years of trade or sales & marketing experience in shipping or related industry is preferable

·      Understanding of equipment management, port & terminal operations;

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in both verbal and written English & Chinese to speak with Chinese speaking clients;  

·      Mature, adaptable and possess a high degree of integrity;

·      Open-minded, self-motivated and a good team player;

·      Willing to relocate and assume work within short notice
