Job Description
Dodoma Media College currently accepting applications from experienced Journalism and mass communication Tutor. Who will be responsible for helping students to understand different subjects. They assess, assist and encourage the students in the learning processes. These professionals also review materials used in classes, explain various topics, and answers all the doubts and questions of the student regarding to that topic.
Duties and Responsibilities
To be responsible for teaching and helping students to understand different subjects.
To asses, assist and encourage the students in the learning processes.
Professionally to review materials used in classes, explain various topics, and answers all doubt and questions of student regarding to that topic.
Detecting specific needs of each student
Teaching supplementary lessons
Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
Prepare course materials such as syllabus, homework assignments, and handouts.
Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
Advise students on academic and vocational curricula, and on career issues.
Supervise undergraduate and/or graduate teaching, internship, and research work.
Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.
Serve on academic or administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic issues.
Participate in campus and community events.

Required experience & qualification
Bachelor Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, or Mass communication.
At least 2-3 years Experience as a tutor or working in media.
