Job Role
Purchase non-inventory machinery, equipment, tools, parts, or supplies necessary for the parts sales and service to help maintaining the desired parts and tools availability and customer satisfaction levels
Job Responsibilities- Scheduling and verifying purchase deliveries and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
- Keeping meticulous purchasing orders records of all. And support inventory levels monitoring to suggest replenishment
- Building and maintaining positive, long-term supplier relations including attending trade shows and exhibitions to stay up to date with industry trends as possible
- Conduct extensive research about potential vendors in their assigned area. This includes performing a cost-benefit analysis to compare vendors and prepare reports to summarize data including purchase report and cost reduction value.
- Purchasing supplies, and equipment based on the company’s current budget and ensure all purchases are done within budget limits set by the company
- Requesting cost proposals, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services from local vendors to get the best deal possible
- Works with the Purchasing management to create and implement local purchase policies and procedures
- Any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor that may include monitor stock levels and suggest place orders as needed
Education
Higher Diploma in Business Administration or Materials Management
Diploma in Business Administration or Relevant field of study preferred
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Experience:
3 – 5 years’ work experience in a similar or equivalent job

- A good team player with strong interpersonal skills, outgoing personality, and ability to work independently and effectively under pressure and on strict deadlines and in a multicultural setting
- Ability to deal with a system of real numbers; and practical application of fractions, percentages, ratios/proportions and measurement
- Excellent knowledge of computer applications;
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
- Technical and mechanical skills is preferable
