Job brief
We are looking for Procurement, Logistic and Store Manager to manage in our various Property/projects.
Procurement
- Address any requests from the Property Managers or Directors
- Source, search and engage with reliable suppliers and vendors
- Liaise with the Directors on all procurement coming from abroad
- Verify all terms and conditions of payment to suppliers when authorised and confirmed by the Directors.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Control the procurement budget for each property and promote a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Oversee and manage any IT systems and paperwork to track shipments, inventory and supply of goods.
- Maintain a database of approved suppliers.
- Review the procurement quotations to ensure prices are in line with market value and approved with the Directors
- Provide reports to Board
- Deal with supplier queries and product defects.
Logistics
- Oversee and Manage all consignments and logistics between the all the properties
- Update the consignment lists and stock sheets
- Handle all importations and its processes directly with the authorities, TRA, clearing agents and ports
Warehouse
- Handle all stock issues at each of the warehouses with the Directors
- Overseas the warehouses
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Skills and Expereince minimum 3 years
- In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
- Management and leadership skills.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven working experience as Purchasing Manager, Agent or Officer
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
- Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
- Strong negotiator and networker
- Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures
- Solid judgement along with decision making skills
- Knowledge of Clearing consignments and conversant with importation laws
- Knowledge of market analysis
