We are looking for an astute Sales Officer who will be responsible with sales & marketing activities to assist our company in expanding our customer base and also to retain and expand existing customers business. The sales officer's responsibilities include generating potential leads, soliciting potential customers, facilitating sales, and connecting customers with the right salesperson. To be a successful sales officer, you should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. You should also demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and have strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Responsibility and Accountabilities:

  • Develop sales plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns to draw in potential buyers or solicit new potential customers.
  • Initiating contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inquiries generated from advertisements.
  • Presenting product information to customers once you have identified their needs.
  • Moving solid leads through the marketing funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls.
  • Following up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase any goods or services.
  • Performing regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs.
  • Collaborating with general manager to ensure the company's goals and targets are met.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
  • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly Reports as per agreed KPI’s
  • Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
  • Maintain and update customer databases
  • Conduct sales research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups, customer satisfaction surveys and other research.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • As Sales Officer you need to keep and manage the marketing material stocks, self-auditing, coordinating with sales team for branding, dealer sign boards.

With experience, you'll need to:

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy (often as part of a wider sales and marketing programme)
  • Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity
  • Lead external agencies, when appropriate, to effectively manage events, press relationships, editorial requests, presentations, promotional materials and online activities

Academic Qualification

Self-driven and dynamic individual who is also a team player and able to work under pressure and

Possess the following qualifications and skills:

·        University degree / Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or related studies.

·        Good command of English

·        High level computer skills in MS Office
