Lahmeyer Consulting Engineers (T) Ltd is an independent consulting engineering firm. The firm is a subsidiary of Lahmeyer Holdings GmbH, a leading international engineering consultancy company in energy, hydropower, water resources, building, and transportation based in Germany.
Lahmeyer works in the field of development cooperation and implements infrastructure projects for the Government and national high-end corporate Clients.
The Project
Lahmeyer TZ, with Tractebel GKW in the lead, has been short-listed to submit a proposal for the Consultancy Services for Feasibility Study, Environmental and Social Impacts Assessment (ESIA), Detail Engineering Designs, Preparation of Tender Documents and Supervision of Works Contract for Water Supply Systems for Buhongwa, Buswelu, Kisesa and Usagara in Mwanza City and Neighbouring Areas, financed by the AFD. Mwanza Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (MWAUWASA) will act as Project Executing Agency and is supposed to steer and monitor the Project.
For the assignment, we are looking the professionals with at least 5 years of specific experience in water projects or successfully completed 3 water supply projects to fill the following positions in Design and/or Construction Supervision:
- Water Supply Engineers (Design Engineers) (2 Positions)
- Clerk of Works (Civil/Water) (2 Positions);
- Structural Engineer (1 Position);
- Mechanical Engineer (1 Position);
- Quantity Surveyor (2 Position);
- Topographical Surveyor (1 Position);
- Environmental Expert (1 Position);
- Sociologist (1 Position);
- Land Valuer (1 Position).
