Invitation for Expression of Interest

PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR THE PROVISION OF CATERING SERVICES AT ST CONSTANTINE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

1. INTRODUCTION

St Constantine International School (SCIS) is a non-denominational, co-educational, day and boarding, international school. It is a member of Round Square and Cambridge International examinations, currently serving 600 students (including 70 boarders) from over 30 different countries.  SCIS is the largest international school in northern Tanzania and has gorgeous gardens and playing fields, sitting in beautiful tree-lined surrounding under Africa’s 5^th highest mountain, Mount Meru, on the world-class northern game park circuit.

In compliance with the internal procurement and requirements. St Constantine International School intends to pre –qualify competent caterers with proven experiance in catering services for the day-to-day running of its canteen facilities at St Constantine School. To this end, competent companies are invited to submit documents for pre-qualification.

1. PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:-

Interested companies that wish to participate in the exercise are required to submit the following documents

1. Detailed service provider’s information with organization structure list of manpower with CVs of key personnel, support agencies and other facilities and resources.
2. Details of completion of similar type of contractors in the last 2 years and similar agreement/contracts with brief scope of work, contract duration, clients name and contact details, in the case St Constantine wishes to approach the cliect directly for feedback. Those references must be similar in operational size and/or similar in complexities of St Constantine International School.
3. Ownership. Please provide the information about your organization ownership/partners/members or directors and their backgrounds.
4. Evidence of financial capability supported with bank statement for six months from a reputable bank.
5. List Health and Safety Executive management system.
6. TMDA Certificate
7. Current Tax clearance certificate.
8. VAT Registration Number.
9. Certificate of Incorporation.
10. Valid business licence.
11. Audited Financial Statement for the past two years.
12. Business must be located in Arusha.

III.            SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS

Interested parties must submit their expression letter of interest together with supporting information to SCIS, which states full name, address, telephone number(s) and email address(es) of the interested party, name of the principal contact and signed by an authorized representative.

The pre-qualification documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR CATERING SERVICES” and the name of the company written clearly on it.

Please note that only qualified companies will be contacted in written to proceed to tender for the catering service.
