MARKETING LEAD DUTY STATION: ARUSHA
The incumbent will be in charge of the Marketing portfolio and will report to the Technical Manager. He/she will be guided by the following terms of reference:
1. Plans and Targets: Establish and ensure realization of the market access plans and targets
2. Market Access: Provide leadership in the identification and securing of reliable and stable markets (local, regional and international) which will entail:
3. Market intelligence surveys.
4. Negotiation and Linkages with well-established markets
5. Market Information: Provide leadership for sound management and dissemination of market information including monitoring and establishment of market trends for industry knowledge building;
6.Trade Promotion: Identify and ensure sound representation of TAHA and the industry in the market access platforms such as regional and international trade fairs;
7. StandardsCompliance: Build capacity of the industry players on market standards and other requirements to enhance compliance by actors hence facilitate access to market opportunities;
8. Team Management: Lead, manage and build capacity of the market access team
Qualifications and skills
Degree Level : Post Graduate Degree in the following or related fields: Marketing, Business Administration, Agribusiness, Agriculture Economics and International Trade. Professional certification and organization memberships are added advantages.
Experience: At least Five (5) years’ experience in Agribusiness value chain development particularity in Trade and Marketing
Key Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, Client Relationships, Sales andMarketing, presentation and negotiation, management and leadership,flexible and ability to deliver under pressure; analytical and computerliterate.
