Main Responsabilities :
- Responsible of, and manage, projects for low voltage, medium voltage, solar mini grid, and other turnkey projects, as assigned
- Ensure the quality of projects
- Conduct a rigorous reporting internally and to customers
- Conduct all necessary efforts to protect and improve the financial status of projects
- Project follow-up on BOQ, project organization, sourcing, shipments, logistics, planning, tools & equipment, etc.
- Liaison with client regarding project related issues
- Liaison with suppliers for follow-up on POs, facilitation of payments, ensuring timely delivery and quality of material
- Liaison with shipping agents, customs clearing agents regarding foreign shipments / materials
- Liaison with Sagemcom HQ for accounting, invoicing, POs and others as required
- Liaison with Technical Manager for control of all technical and budget related aspects
- Planning and execution for timely delivery
- Execution of projects as per contract and legal aspects
- Management of all teams and staff working on the project
- Vet / quantity the scope of works, understand the scope of works
- Support in design and engineering of LV / MV distribution lines and/or solar, substations, transformers and others as required
- Ensure survey, designs ans works are implemented in line with local legal and contractual regulations regarding way leaves, environment, social, health & safety, engineering, among others
- Control teams during implementation to ensure installation works are as per designs, approved quality, standards and proposed specifications
- Support in exploring methods, technology, solutions for efficient installation works to keep up to date with the market and provide best & cost-effective technical solutions
Your profile :
- At least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent field
- Engineer should be registered by ERB
- 10 years of experience in energy sector
