We
are looking for a skilled an automotive electrician who is specialise
in all type of vehicles and machinery and who will be responsible for
assessing the electrical systems of vehicles and making repairs where
necessary on the likes of headlight, diagnostic lights, alarm systems,
circuit boards, alternators and starter motors and who will also install
new electronic equipment.
Automotive Electrician responsibilities include:
- Assessing the electrical system of a vehicle using diagnostic testing equipment.
- Using readings to diagnose faults and decide how best to repair them.
- Carrying out repairs or replacing broken parts.
- Using electrical diagrams to help find faults.
- Carrying out tests on the vehicle to ensure that it has been properly repaired.
- Perform diagnostic electrical test as needed.
- Install new interior electrical system as needed.
- Keeping records of the work that has been carried out and updating the vehicle documents.
- Operate hand and power tools.
- Perform any other related duties as it may be required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as Automotive Electrical Technician.

Description
We
are looking for committed candidate to manage our workshop activities
for Dar es Salaam region office managing various construction projects,
logistics and Transportation under the Government of Tanzania through
regional authorities.
We require a person to manage mechanical
activities in the workshop and conduct him/herself in a friendly and
professional manner to fulfill all relevant paperwork and admin
requirements where applicable as a Workshop Supervisor.
Workshop Supervisor Responsibilities include:
- Confer with drivers, operators, and mechanics to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems and to discuss work to be performed.
- Estimate costs and time required for repair or maintenance of the vehicle or machine.
- Plan, organize and coordinate the day-to-day running of the garage, e.g., by writing work orders and by arranging for garage staff to perform necessary maintenance and repair work on machines and vehicles.
- Repair, maintain and service vehicles/machines and their mechanical and electronic components.
- Ensure that necessary spare parts, materials and equipment are available or obtainable at short notice at reasonable cost.
- Checking activities in the garage, inspect completed work for defects and making sure that they are repaired.
- Maintain records of repair and service work, and make reports to detect recurrent faults.
- Making sure that all Health and Safety requirements set by company management are enforced and adhered to.
- Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users
- Making sure that all removed defects spare parts are kept and recorded properly
- Ensure that workshop area is clean and tidy.
- Perform any other related duties as it may be required.

- Excellent knowledge of mechanics, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components.
- Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g., callipers)
- Ability to follow established procedures, practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- Very good communication skills

are looking for a skilled Mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair
machinery and vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring
functionality and reliability of machines, engines and mechanical
systems.
An excellent mechanic must have manual dexterity and great
attention to detail. They must be able to work with various machines and
tools as well as follow all safety precautions.
Mechanic responsibilities include:
- Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements
- Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
- Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
- Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems
- Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components
- Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery
- Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users
- Keep logs of work and report on issues
- Undertake other duties as assigned (e.g., repair of hydraulic systems, painting vehicles etc.
