Job Title: Head Products and Revenue Assurance
Department: Retail
Reporting to: Head- Retail
Responsible for: Retail Products

Region: Dar es Salaam

Hours of Work: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
Additional hours as required by workload

1. PURPOSE OF JOB:
« The Head Products and Revenue Assurance is responsible for changing, modifying, streamlining the existing product portfolio and design
the new products in consultation with retail bank head.

• Areas of Focus:
i. Liability and Asset Products
ii. Revenue assurance - curb revenue leakages
iii. To ensure the delivery of accurate and relevant management information (MI) and analysis regarding the Retail Banking
functions to support business in improvement plans and decision making.

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
«
Manage in-life product performance: sales, margin, and churn, conducting extensive numerical analysis using company data.
Ensure income targets are met for Retail products through establishing and implementing the local/regional product pricing strategy.
• participate actively in the ALCO (Asset and Liability Committee) meetings, advising on the most appropriate interest rate strategy
for each product, covering balance sheet and income impacts
Will be owning all products related activities for all retail liabilities (CASAFD. Salary accounts) and non-funded income.
Product Manager in a Bank in Tanzania.
Product governance and control
Prepare monthly tariff reports to identify errors and deviations.
Conduct snap checks as assigned.
Monitor adherence to agreed sales processes by conducting regular walk-through audits and checking documentation requirements.
• Product Training
Identify product training needs or skills gaps and ensure that the Exim Academy are made aware of the training needs.
• Source training material for products
• Conduct formal training on product
3. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERINCE
Minimum experience of 5-8 yrs with at least 2-S years as a product Head/Product Manager in a Bank in Tanzania.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, science.
