Request for Proposals
The East Africa Health Platform (EAHP) is a regional Platform which brings together the regional and national networks who have diverse interests in the health sector such as the private health providers, faith-based organizations, pharmaceuticals, and civil society organizations as its members, based in the East African Community (EAC). The Platform leverages from these members pooled resources and expertise in advocacy and institutional development.
It is with this background that EAHP is seeking the services of a consultant to develop a REGIONAL CURRICULUM FRAMEWORK for healthcare professionals among 6 EAC Partner States.
Roles and Responsibility
- Development of inception report, outlining approach to consultancy and proposed methodology.
- Identification of national CPD curricula and national policy requirements for offering CPD courses.
- Identification of national requirement for CPD course accreditation.
- Identification of EAC regulations about CPD courses for healthcare professionals.
- Comparison of the national curricula and policies.
- Documentation and analysis of the findings in a report: The EAHP Regional CurriculumFramework.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A Master Degree or equivalent in Health-related Curriculum development fields
- A bachelors Degree on Health Curriculums
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in carrying out similar assignments.
- Research assistance and particular data collection experience
- Self-management ability
- Oral and writing communication abilities
Application Process
We invite interested individuals to submit the following application documents:
- Technical proposal outlining how they meet the selection criteria and their understanding of the ToR and methodology
- A proposed activities’ schedule/work plan with clear time frame
- Copies of CVs and testimonials on the area of at least 3 similar assignments carried out recently.
- Financial proposal detailing consultants’ itemized fees. Fee for the consultancy will be discussed and agreed upon between the consultant and EAHP.
Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be delivered to EAHP on eahp@eahponline.net on or before 10th Dec, 2021, 5.00 p.m.
