SHOP ASSISTANT
We are looking to hire a hard-working, customer oriented Shop Assistant to ensure the smooth running of the organic fruits and vegetables shop located in Mtwara town. The Shop Assistant’s responsibilities include welcoming customers to our shop, arranging shelf displays accordingly, and performing other duties as assigned by the shop’s manager.

Role and Responsibilities
 Completing sales sheets at the end of the day.
 When required wrapping up purchased items for customers.
 Handling customer’s complaints in a professional and diplomatic way.
 Assisting with deliveries to customer addresses.
 Promoting the shop and its products at every opportunity.
 Daily reporting to the shop manager.
 Giving expert advice to customers regarding products.
 Cleaning the shop, this includes wiping down the shelves, products, counter and fixtures as well as sweeping and mopping the shop floor.
 Keeping Products orderly and neat in appearance.
 Assisting customers in the selection and purchase of items.
 Completing paper work at the start and end of the day.
