Job description:

a)Maintain welfare of the children and workers

  1. b) Plan and harmonize related development programs and issues for marginalized and vulnerable groups
  2. c) Monitor the implementation of decisions on vulnerable groups at regional level through progress reports.
  3. d) Writing monthly, quarterly and annually and submit to social welfare
  4. e) Attending all meeting called by District social welfare and NG’Os registrar
  5. f) Conducting outreach and writing report
  6. g) Keep communication between children in our care and their family
  7. h) Prepare and conducting different seminar include guidance and canceling, HIV testing to workers and communities

Qualifications for Social worker

-Diploma/certificate in social work or related field

-Applicants of age between 35 and above that are highly recommended

-Ability to stay calm and emphasize with clients when they upset

-Awareness of others’ reactions and understanding why they react as they do

-Ability to give full attention to what social service clients are saying ,understand the points being made, ask question and not interrupt inappropriately

-Experience working with clients that are affected by issues of domestic violence,mental health child abuse etc.

-Ability to develop a treatment plan

-Computer knowledge
