It has 6.3 hectares of greenhouses and employs over 300 permanent people. The seeds produced are all exported to the mother company based in the Netherlands. Local Quality Assurance Officer – none GSPP protocols
Reports to: General Manager
Role of the position
• As a Local Quality Assurance Officer – none GSPP protocols, you will
be required to ensure that protocols are followed, obliged to, and
mistakes are reported as per procedure in place.
• Make sure the company protocol book is up to date, and when
adjustments are needed, update after consultation of the protocol owner
in the Quality Management System Quality Online.
• Setting up a system of audits twice a year within the company, prepare
reports on findings and follow up on short falls and recommendations.
• Make sure that training is done for new employees for protocols
applicable for their specific job role and prepare a plan for on yearly
training for employees on working by protocols.
• Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health, Health
& Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are followed
and are regularly reviewed and communicated.
• Ensure that company meets the statutory obligations in all areas
relating to health, safety, and welfare at work, including statutory
training and reporting.
Required Skills/Abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable with conventional work environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
• Previous experience of relevant work experience is an added advantage.
