Job Title: Assistant Manager - Alternative Channel & Digital Sales
Department: Retail Banking
Reporting to: Head Alternative Channel & Digital Sales
Responsible for: All Non Branch & Alternate Channel/ Digital Sales
Region: Dar es Salaam
Hours of Work: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
Additional hours as required by workload
1. PURPOSE OF JOB:
• To grow and support Merchant Acquiring business through PoS Channel.
2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and execute customized territory business plans to increase sales volume and market share within Merchants space in the regions as assigned.
- Creating new sales and revenue generating opportunities as appropriate.
- Prepare Proposal , high impact sales presentations and negotiate contractual relationships with new and existing customers.
- Develop partnerships and campaigns with merchants as per assigned portfolio and territory to grow revenues and brand visibilty for both.
- Be the single point of contact for the merchant. provide a high degree of customer care with a pro active, solution oriented mindset
- Manage active / inactive merchants to grow profitability.
- Develop deep understanding of the merchant business and provide analytical and strategic reports that will help to track business in relation to business objectives.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales call reports.
- Provide competitor intelligence reports on products and tariffs.
3. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A university degree in business, banking, marketing, or any other relevant degree.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in merchant acquiring.
