SUMET is a technological startup that aims to transform the distribution of essential goods across the Africa continent. It provides a B2B e-commerce solution to facilitate the connection between suppliers and informal retailers and helps both to drive more business and optimize their flow using date-driven AI.

As a Business development executive, it would be your job to create sales channels and revenue streams for your company’s products. You would be responsible for finding and winning new customers, as well as looking after existing customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

Your day-to-day tasks are likely to include:

  • Making appointments with and meeting new customers.
  • Keeping in contact with existing customers in person and by phone.
  • Meeting sales targets.
  • Promoting new products and any special deals.
  • Recording orders and sending details to the sales office.
  • Giving feedback on sales trends, and up to date to market dynamics.

Qualifications:

  • You’ll need a good general education, but your sales skills and experience count for more than your formal qualifications.
  • With +2years of experience in the FMCG sales field, however, fresh grads are also welcome to apply.
  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team.
  • Valid motorcycle driving license.
  • Able to work in a startup environment and able to achieve fast-growing results.
  • Able to handle good reports to management levels.
