The Commissioner General of Immigration announces 350 vacancies for the rank of Immigration Constable for young people who have graduated from the various Nation Building Armies (JKT) - 'Jeshi la Kujenga Taifa' or (JKU) - 'Jeshi la Kujenga Uchumi' in currently in Camps or graduated with the following qualifications:
- Must be a Tanzanian citizen at least 18 years of age and not under 25 years of age
- Have a Birth Certificate,
- Have a National Identity Number (NIDA).
- Must have a Form Four qualification and a Grade 4 pass with 28 to 31 marks
- Have Leaving Certificates
- Must be an Academic Certificate,
- Have a JKT / JKU Preliminary Training Certificate in Various Operations
- Have good physical and mental health, and attach a Doctor's Report from any Government Hospital.
- Be of good character, have never been imprisoned, or engage in illegal drug business or illegal drug use, or any other crime
- He should not have any tattoo marks or drawings on his body.
- He should not be married
- Must not be employed / have never been employed by the Government Be prepared to attend Preliminary - Immigration Training
- Be willing to work anywhere in Tanzania
